What is an Address Book?
|
|
Your Address Book is a place where you can store e-mail addresses of friends, family, coworkers and other people that you communicate with via e-mail. The Address Book makes it easy to remember and access these e-mail addresses. Each entry in your address book will contain the following information:
- e-mail address (required)
- Nickname (optional) - You can assign a nickname to an entry in your address book and then use it as shorthand to refer to that e-mail address when addressing an e-mail message. Note - The nickname is specific to your Address Book. It is not the same as the SMTP nickname that can appear in the From: field of an e-mail message.
- Name (optional) - This is the name of the person who owns the e-mail address.
